Harry was lazy, and even though his only job was to take his goat to the pasture each day, he still complained when he came home after work. "It's such a heavy burden," he said, "and such a tiring job to take a goat to the field year after year, until late in the fall! If only I could lie down and sleep, but no, I have to keep my eyes open so it doesn't damage the young trees, squeeze through the hedge into a garden, or run away completely. How can anyone have any rest or peace in life?" He sat down, thought about it, and tried to figure out how to free himself from this burden. For a long time, his thinking led nowhere, but suddenly it was like a light bulb went off in his head. "I know what I'll do," he shouted, "I'll marry fat Trina who also has a goat, and she can take mine out with hers, and then I won't have to worry about it anymore."
So Harry got up, moved his tired legs, and went right across the street to where fat Trina's parents lived, and asked to marry their hardworking and virtuous daughter. The parents didn't think long. "Birds of a feather flock together," they thought, and agreed.
So fat Trina became Harry's wife and took both goats out. Harry had a good time and didn't have any work to rest from except his own laziness. He only went out with her occasionally and said, "I just do it so I can enjoy rest more later, otherwise you lose all feeling for it."
